Let’s Start Building a Net that Works – Participate in our Call-To-Action Survey 2023!

The Research Working Group of the International Feldenkrais Federation was founded because we need solid research to be done to carry the Feldenkrais Method into the future. We took up the work and started to create the necessary conditions for building  a research network, following a vision of an interacting community of people who would exchange, collaborate and do research. Till today, 200 Feldenkrais practitioners with academic background and/or research background, all interested in research on the Feldenkrais Method have answered our call. Many of them have gathered in online research events during the last two years. Many of them have read our articles. And some of them have already taken up research work and completed the revision of the Feldenkrais Reference Database which is now a serious and publicly accessible source of knowledge on the Feldenkrais Method and part of the image how the Feldenkrais Method is and will be seen.

But, of course, building a functioning network, literally a “net that works”,  means more than meeting others at events and a database of the knowledge we have is only a start for future attempts to increase our knowledge. And so we are entering the next stage of the project.
